Go to Reports

In the left-hand menu click Reports. You will see the four available report types listed.

Executive Summary

High-level overview of certificate health, compliance score, and critical findings. Suitable for management or board-level reporting.

Operational Risk

Detailed findings sorted by severity. Includes remediation recommendations for each issue. For security and operations teams.

Expiry Forecast

Timeline of upcoming certificate expirations over the next 90 days. Useful for planning renewal work.

Drift Report

Tracks changes in certificate configuration over time. Highlights unexpected replacements, new issuers, or configuration changes.

Select a report type and click Generate

Click the report you want. CertControl generates it immediately based on the latest scan data. Reports reflect the state of your environment at the time of generation.

Download or share

Once generated, click Download PDF to save a copy. The compliance score shown on the Executive Summary is calculated as:

score = 100 − (critical × 15) − (high × 8) − (warning × 2)

A score of 80 or above is generally considered acceptable for most compliance frameworks.

Scheduled reports: You can configure reports to be emailed automatically on a weekly or monthly schedule under Settings → Reports.
