An endpoint is any monitored asset — a hostname with a TLS certificate, an internal host discovered by a collector agent, a cloud service, or an uploaded certificate. Each unique asset you track counts as one endpoint. Deactivated or deleted endpoints are not counted. A collector agent is a lightweight Java application you deploy inside your own network. It scans your internal subnets for open ports, services, and TLS certificates, then securely pushes results to CertControl.
